This matters to us. Here’s why:
With decades of collective experience in the corporate world and as lifetime mental health advocates, we bonded over a shared curiosity and a glaring gap: the recognition that despite the soaring need for mental health support, the utilization rates for corporate wellbeing programs remained alarmingly low.
We understood the correlation between employee wellbeing & company performance – but did everyone else?
Mindly’s mission is simple: to help people unlock their potential & create greater outcomes at work and in life.
We hosted 100+ discovery calls with our corporate networks to understand this problem. After extensive analysis, we learned that approximately 70% of employees say their manager has the greatest impact on their mental health.
In fact, we learned that managers impact retention, engagement, and culture more than any other factor.
Additionally, we learned three key things: managers are themselves burnt out, they are juggling their already overwhelming workload in addition to their teams, and they often don’t have time to benefit from traditional company offerings like coaching & therapy. We re-imagined a better way to equip people managers and thus, we built Mindly for this specific need. The intention is that the ripple effect would have a huge positive impact on the rest of the organization. Our goal? To create a tool for people managers that have the following attributes: high impact, low time commitment, evidence-based, and accessible 24/7. This is how Mindly was born.
